Sliding Door Installation

The Installation of these custom built sliding doors allowed the owner of this New York apartment to close off and conceal the kitchen when not being used. Wellbuilt added an extra design feature by installing a wood valance to conceal the track hardware from view.

The great thing about these custom sliding doors is that they come in a range of styles and are delivered ready to install in a matter of hours. The doors were purchased from "sliding door company" and installed by the skilled craftsman at Wellbuilt.

280 Park Avenue South NYC

280 Park Avenue South NYC collaboration between Daniel Grady Faires and Wellbuilt Company

280 park avenue south NYC was a Wellbuilt collaboration with designer Daniel Grady Faires. This one bedroom apartment had a master bathroom sharing a common wall with an adjacent powder room. Both bathrooms were very small, outdated, and incredibly ugly. These bathrooms required a complete overhaul to bring them up to par with the  high end finishes of the rest of the apartment.

Both bathrooms were completed gutted down to the studs and the adjoining wall was removed. In the walls place we installed a sliding frosted glass panel which would allow the powder room to open up into the master bath. With the two bathrooms now joined linked together by the frosted glass door, we could remove the master toilet and enlarge the usable space of master bath. This consisted of double his & her basins, enlarged rain head shower & stall, shower niches, and oversized medicine cabinet with three way mirrors.  All new materials were used from Marble tile, marble counter tops, shower mixtures and faucets, bath, toilet, and custom mill work.

Kips Bay with Celerie Kemble

Kips Bay painting by Artist Miriam Ellner

Hats off to Designer Celerie Kemble for her outstanding space at the 2011 Kips Bay Decorator Show House.  Celerie’s dark and masculine room was transformed into a woman’s library. Since the walls could not be touched, the team focused on adorning “the ceiling, floors, windows, furniture, and bookcases with every trick of her craft to add glimmer and put a little switch in its skirts.”  Artist Miriam Ellner created an amazing ceiling of gold leaf and other metals on the reverse side of glass, verre eglomise, to create a “Chinoiserie inspired skyscape fantasy.” Wellbuilt had great pleasure in working Celerie and her team to bring such an important project to fruition.

Winchester Massachusetts Kitchen

Winchester Massachusetts Kitchen by Wellbuilt Company

This Winchester Massachusetts Kitchen was partial gut renovation and new construction project. The residents of the house have bought, renovated and flipped several houses in recent years and the kitchen is has always been the most important item on the list fro pre-sell remodel work. The old kitchen was outdated, small, and under utilized as a family gathering point for good food, winding down, and enjoying time with the family. The kitchen was extended into the detached garage to give more floor area for the large island counter and installation of a custom wine fridge and then dining table that can comfortably seat 8 people. The roof was complete;y demolished to create a new cathedral style ceiling, providing the perception of a much larger space and also allowing for display custom lighting.
