Additional information: Clear quartersawn heart pine was the flooring of choice prior to the depletion of the Longleaf forests. Very few, if any, "pin knots" (under 1/2") or small nail holes. No checking. Growth rings 8 to the inch and greater. Generally very dense material. 100% heartwood. Truly quartersawn, no rift.
